Preventing Household Waste in Scotland

The Scottish Executive and SEPA are consulting on a range of actions to stem the rising tide of waste produced by households in Scotland. These proposals may affect you if you:
· Specify, design or manufacture consumer products
· Retail consumer products
· Are a consumer interested in the waste impacts of products
· Send direct mail to households
· Are involved in the supply of plastic bags
· Are involved in reusing or repairing consumer products
· Are a local authority waste officer responsible for meeting landfill directive targets
· Are involved in the waste industry
At the event you will:
· Hear a presentation about the proposals
· Have an opportunity to ask questions
· Have an opportunity to give your views
· Learn about the work of the Waste Resources Action Programme - including funding opportunities.
