Putting On The Rotz - The Innovative One Day Course For Aspiring Commercial Composters.

The Abertay Centre for the Environment (ACE) based at the University of Abertay Dundee is holding a one day training event aimed at anyone interested in the world of commercial composting operations and the use and marketing of composts. Composting is recognised as a mainstream waste management technique however, uptake is limited in part because of lack of understanding of the underlying processes and thus the ways of optimising the process. The use of composts is also currently limited however, there are large markets out there for innovative companies for retail, transport and deployment of composts.

Putting On The Rotz will uniquely use both lectures and practical lab workshops to provide delegates with the tools they need to establish a successful compost business.

The fees for this event are £100 and include lab fees and lunch. However, for eligible SMEs there is 100% fee support. Spaces are limited.
