VIBES APPLICATION WORKSHOP

2006 was the year when the environment – and more specifically how seriously organisations take their environmental obligations – moved to centre stage. With this in mind, I draw your attention to the recent launch of this year’s VIBES (Vision in Business for the Environment of Scotland) Awards – Scotland’s leading business and environment competition.

Come along to the VIBES Application workshop to learn more about the VIBES Awards 2007!

• Receive tips from a VIBES judge on how to best fill in your application form and the process of entering VIBES.
• Hear from a previous VIBES entrant on their experience of entering VIBES from completing the form, to the site visit, awards ceremony and any benefits they may have received.
• Experts will be on hand for guidance and a “Question and Answer” session will also take place prior to sandwich lunch.

The awards are open to any business and organisation across Scotland that brings benefits to its bottom line through improvements to environmental performance.  Aiming to recognise, reward and showcase these achievements, VIBES is open to Scottish organisations of all sizes, whatever sector they are in. Prizes are awarded in three size categories at a high-profile awards ceremony each December. The Awards ceremony is sponsored by Rolls-Royce Inchinnan and Chivas Brothers – Pernod Ricard. There are a whole host of awards up for grabs including three national winner awards.
