23rd February - 2nd TEN Brunch Meeting

The TEN Spotlight on Leisure and Tourism was held at The Salutation Hotel, Perth. The Event focused on cost saving opportunities available to the Leisure and Tourism sector through improved environmental management. 15th March - 3rd TEN Meeting

TEN's Spotlight on was held at the Angus Business Gateway, Arbroath. The event focused on small-scale manufacturing, engineering, construction and general industrial businesses. The three speakers gave interesting and informative accounts of their independent experience of environmental management, from a business perspective.

19th March  - Waste Busters Challenge

Together with Angus, Dundee City and Perth & Kinross Councils, The Scottish Waste Awareness Group (SWAG) is currently running a campaign across the Tayside area to promote Recycling Centres & Points. In the museum all day, join Judith Hollick and other members from The SWAG team as they put you through the Wastebusters Challenge. Learn how to sort different types of waste and see if you can conquer the Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle challenges. Contact SWAG for more information.

24th & 25th Feb: Improving Organic Waste Management Operations: Achieving optimum efficiency & quality - This course will provide a thorough knowledge and understanding of the key elements required for successful composting site operations in order to improve site efficiencies and the quality of products. The course is aimed at composting site operations staff and anyone who wishes to learn more about the fundamental aspects of compost site operations.
