Spotlight on SME Manufacturing/Engineering
Date: Tuesday 15th March, 2005
Venue: Angus Business Gateway, Marketgate, Arbroath
Theme: SME Manufacturing/Engineering
Time: 08:00 - 10:00
Agenda: Business Environment Programme: Angus
Today, all businesses operate in an increasingly competitive climate, and must
continually seek to operate as efficiently as possible. “The Environment” is an
increasing cost for you through water and waste charges, landfill tax and the
climate change levy on energy bills. However, by identifying and tackling such
costs, it is possible to reduce your operational costs. These meetings by Tayside
Environmental Network (TEN) are the first step in offering assistance, support
and practical solutions to Tayside businesses.
Who should attend?
This event focuses on small scale manufacturing,
engineering, construction and general industrial
businesses. However any business seeking
environmental information is most welcome.
Outputs
Once again the Event was a success, with interesting and informative presentations by Graham Beatton (Kolfor Plant), Roddy MacDonald (Michelin, Dundee), and Jim Ryan (J&D Wilkie Limited, Kirriemuir) The presentations will be available online soon.
